14 Questions to Ask Your Potential Wedding Venue to Find “The One” (& Our Answers!)

You’ve said yes to your dream person, now it’s time to find your dream venue. Touring venues can be overwhelming so it’s important to be prepared. You’ll need to ask lots of questions to find out what each venue includes to learn what options you have. Consider asking these questions below to find the perfect wedding venue for you.

What dates are available in the month(s) I’m considering? How far do you book out?
La Gala’s answer: Because we have two rooms available to rent, our availability for most months is offered! We are currently booking for 2025-2026.
What spaces are available to choose from? How many people can they accommodate?
La Gala’s answer: We have two spaces to choose from. Our Showroom can hold up to 25-120 guests and our Ballroom is for 120-400 guests.
Do I need a deposit? When is the payment due?
La Gala’s answer: Yes, we do require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. The final payment is due 10 days before your event date. We allow payments to be made in increments if that is better for your budget.

Are there changing areas for the wedding party?
La Gala’s answer: We offer a bridal suite and a groom’s lounge for the bride and groom to get ready on their special day.
Can I have the rehearsal here as well?
La Gala’s answer: We do offer day before rehearsals as well as the option to have your rehearsal dinner here.
Do you offer catering? What are my options?
La Gala’s answer: We offer in-house catering for both appetizers and entrees. Ask our event manager for our menus or to create a curated menu for your event!
Are you licensed to provide alcohol services?
La Gala’s answer: Yes, we are. We can provide on-site and off-site bartending and alcohol services. We have a variety of packages we offer for the bar to suit your needs!

Are tables, chairs, linens, plateware, etc. included or do I need to rent them elsewhere?
La Gala’s answer: We believe in being a one-stop shop therefore everything from tables, chairs, plates, glassware, silverware, linens, etc. can also be rented through us!
Do you have an inventory of decor we can borrow from?
La Gala’s answer: We do not offer decorations or floral arrangements but we have a list of third party vendors we have worked with that we would love to refer you to! Ask your event manager for more details.
Can you accommodate a DJ or a live band?
La Gala’s answer: We can definitely accommodate a live band and/or DJ. Reach out to your event coordinator for a list of our preferred entertainment vendors.
Do you have a sound system/microphone?
La Gala’s answer: We offer a sound system with two wireless microphones as an additional rental. For additional audio and video, we also offer a projector/screen, podium, and stage if needed for your presentation.
Is there parking onsite?
La Gala’s answer: There are two parking lots on either side of our building that are available to park in. There is also a parking garage across the street from us that holds 700 cars and is free parking!
How many restrooms are there?
La Gala’s answer: We have three different restrooms that can be used across the whole building; with each restroom containing around 7 stalls each.
What is the cancellation policy?
La Gala’s answer: If the client cancels the event 90 days or more before the event date, all payments made by the client will be returned, excluding the non-refundable retainer fee. The client will receive 50% of all payments if they cancel less than 90 days before the event date. All payments will be completely forfeited if the event is canceled less than 30 days prior to the event date.
